NHS Golden Jubilee's Standing Financial Instructions are issued in accordance with Financial Directions issued by Scottish Ministers under the provisions of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 for the regulation of the conduct in relation to all financial matters. They shall have effect as if incorporated in the Standing Orders of the Board.
NHS Golden Jubilee's Standing Financial Instructions detail the financial responsibilities, policies and procedures to be adopted by the Board. They are designed to ensure that its financial transactions are carried out in accordance with the law and Government policy in order to achieve probity, accuracy, economy, efficiency and effectiveness. They should be used in conjunction with the Scheme of Delegation adopted by the Health Board.
NHS Golden Jubilee's Standing Financial Instructions identify the financial responsibilities, which apply to everyone working for the Health Board and its constituent organisations including Trading Units including the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel.
