Equalities strategy, policies and reports
NHS Golden Jubilee's Diversity and Inclusion strategy 2021 to 2025 outlines our vision for creating a more inclusive hospital culture through a series of aims and outcomes.
We have taken an intersectional approach to ensure that everyone regardless of personal characteristic is treated with fairness, dignity and respect.
The strategy, which is underpinned by the Equality Act 2010 and the associated Public Sector Equality Duties, incorporates the board’s legal responsibilities to:
- Eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation and other conduct prohibited by the Act
- Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not
- Foster good relations between people who share a protected characteristic and those who do not.
