Stephen McAllister

Interim Vice Chair

Stephen is a former Divisional Commander in Police Scotland where he gained experience in leading people through significant change in a complex and fast paced environment.

Since retiring from the police, he has worked as a volunteer Board Member with the Samaritans and with Lifelink, a Glasgow-based social enterprise who provide stress management and counselling in areas of high social deprivation.

He is delighted to be able to utilise the experience gained in these non-executive positions, as well as in senior leadership roles, as a Board Member with NHS Golden Jubilee Board.  

Stephen was appointed to NHS Golden Jubilee Board on 1 October 2018 and Interim Vice Chair in June 2024.
