Employee Director

Jane has been Employee Director since July 2010.

Jane has the same corporate responsibility as all of our other Non-Executive Directors and plays a key role in:

  • providing a staff perspective on strategy development and service delivery issues considered by the Board; 
  • acting as a focal point for staff from across the organisation who wish to contribute to the business of the Board; 
  • explaining the work of the Board and promoting opportunities for staff to be involved in decision-making; 
  • reflecting the views of Partnership Forum on the performance of employers within the Board in discharging their staff governance responsibilities; and 
  • championing partnership working and providing a vital link between the NHS Board and the Partnership Forum.

Jane does not hold any other Ministerial appointments.

Jane is also a member of the Scottish NHS Pension Scheme Advisory Board.
