heart patient in ward

Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service (SACCS)

The Scottish Adult Congenital Cardiac Service (SACCS) is based at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, providing services for patients with congenital heart disease over the age of 16 years (or 14 years if transitioned from the paediatric cardiac services) that live in Scotland.

At the Golden Jubilee National Hospital we perform heart surgeries, interventions and detailed assessments and specialised drug therapies.

We work with teams around Scotland, ensuring that there is care available to you as close to home as possible.  This means that you may have clinic appointments at both the Golden Jubilee and your local hospital. However, we copy our letters to the local teams and your GP and they remain in contact, to ensure that everyone involved in your care has up to date information at all times.
